About Kate

Kate Beaulieu is a seasoned government affairs professional with over 15 years of legislative experience both on Capitol Hill and with a major trade association. As a Principal at GuidePost Strategies, she leverages her extensive network and strong relationships with members of Congress and their staff to strategically influence policy and legislative outcomes.

Prior to joining GuidePost, Kate served as a lobbyist at the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA), where she advanced the trade association’s legislative agenda on a range of issues, with a particular focus on small business issues and tax policy. Additionally, she played a key role in supporting NBWA’s political action committee, further strengthening the industry’s voice in Washington.

Before her tenure at NBWA, Kate served as an aide in the U.S. Senate, where she conducted policy research and advised on a broad spectrum of legislative priorities. Kate holds a B.A. in English from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, she now resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with her husband and two children.
